To inspire & promote local community growth to the east end of pittsburgh.

Family services - provide a continuum of family focused and holistic services to families in the greater larimer community (a neighborhood in the east end of the city of pittsburgh, pa) through contracts with the department of human services and urban strategies, inc. As part of the choice neighborhood initiative. Families are engaged in comprehensive services such as developmental assessment of child/children, parenting support groups, workshops addressing financial literacy, health-related topics and stress management. Home and center based activities seek to engage, educate, and empower families to take more responsibility for all aspects of their lives including housing stability, employment, and social well-being, to promote healthy family living.

Community development and sustainability - the kingsley association works to revitalize the surrounding neighborhoods, and to integrate those neighborhoods more fully into the fabric of stable and thriving communities in the region. Kingsley continues to build vital relationships with other non-profit, public, private and civic interests that have helped bring investments to the area.
