Mission
KPBA is a private, membership-owned, boat clubwas formed in 1939 by workers at the local shipyard. They designed KPBA to be a cooperative,do it yourself, low-cost boat club that would assist its members as they supported each other in their pursuit of boating pleasures on the Rondout Creek and the Hudson River. We are the only NON-commercial boat club on the Rondout Creek. They promote boat ownership and safe boating activities for individuals and families. They a member of the Mohawk-Hudson Council of Yacht Clubs.
