Kirkland Parks & Community Foundation

Ignitekirklandin its first year, ignite kirkland proved the power of crowd-sourced giving and community collaboration. Led by kcf, this initiative united residents, nonprofits, and businesses to support 26 organizations and 28 impactful projects. Together, we addressed critical needs in youth empowerment, arts, health, and community engagement.

Pride cross walkkpcf partnered with community organizations to restore the pride crosswalk at marina park, reinforcing kirkland's commitment to inclusivity and equity. This highly visible crosswalk, designed after the intersex-inclusive progress pride flag, serves as a lasting symbol of support for the lgbtqia2-s community. By revitalizing this public landmark, kpcf helped ensure kirkland remains a welcoming place for all.
