Life programs: the council collected items to support the community pregnancy center in anchorage, donated $200 towards catholic social services refugee assistance program, and donated $200 to special olympics/alaska.

Faith programs: council 4859 provided booklets for the kiosk at holy family cathedral in anchorage, supported vocations program for the western dominican order, donated $25,200 for scholarships to holy rosary academy for catholic school education,raised $7,460 to support our lady of perpetual help catholic church in soldotna, and hosted the friars fest event at holy family cathedral.

Community program: the council donated $790 for two summer camp scholarships towards the catholic summer camp program, manned a checkpoint for the walk and roll for hope event in anchorage, donated $500 towards the coats for kids program, and participated in the anchorage citywide clean-up week to clean up the pope john paul ii memorial at the city park strip.
