Mission
Kokomo rescue mission is a faith based social services ministry which provides emergency shelter for the homeless and long-term residential recovery programs that touch the body, mind, and spirit.

Food programs: hungry individuals in north-central indiana found hope that someone cares about them through the free meals serviced daily at the kokomo rescue mission. 109,407 meals were served in fy2023. In addition, 1,049 freshly cooked thanksgiving meals were delivered to families in need on thanksgiving day.
Assistance programs: the lives of those who are hurting and in need were impacted through the various forms of emergency assistance provided through the kokomo rescue mission. In fy2023, the following items were distributed to those in need at no cost: clothing that valued a total of 64,197.55, groceries totaling 17,758.27 pounds, boxes of christmas gifts for 807 families, and new shoes & undergarments for 582 school-aged children. Our retail re-sale store also provided 581,755.23 worth of merchandise to the public at low cost while providing job opportunities and job training for shelter residents.
This item represents one local program: muff is the howard county ministerial association's fund to help members of the community with utility costs.
