Help promote the tradition of mardi gras in acadiana and to encourage lafayette's young citizens to participate in mardi gras.

The krewe hosts an annual coronation ball hosting approximately 2,000 people. It is at this event that the royalty is named for the upcoming mardi gras season.
Other social activities, such as the fall cocktail party and the krewefish boil which hosts between 450 and 600 individuals, serve as meetings in which the krewe can continue to discuss their future mardi gras plans
