KRS Education and Rural Development Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded in 1991, to help improve the quality of life and living conditions of people living in Indias economically-poor farming villages.KRS is headquartered in the USA and we work alongside local residents from KRS's villages in India to create programming and services to meet the community's needs. KRS Foundation is run by volunteers who come from the same villages we work in, giving us a greater understanding as to how change can happen in these communities.The principal mission of KRS Foundation is to implement and support projects that provide access to quality education and health care for children and women living in farming villages in India. This includes a focus on economic empowerment projects for women, providing household income that can help families thrive.
