Founded in 1989, the kurukulla center for tibetan buddhist studiesinc.s mission is to provide a community of support for those who arestudying and practicing the tibetan buddhist tradition.

Building project:this program supports the improvement and maintenance of the buildingsand grounds which are the site of all local programs and meetings heldin furtherance of the centers mission. This program includes culturalpreservation projects such as the construction of a stupa (sacredmonument) on the grounds. The building, which was purchased in 2001,is also used to house the resident teachers, resident translator andvisiting teachers.
