Kuto crisis helpline - the only telephone hotline in the area staffed by trained youth volunteers, operates 365 days per year and manages over 1,100 calls each year. Telephone crisis hotlines are highly effective in reducing caller distress and de-escalating suicidal behavior and play a significant role in community support systems.

Kuto peer helping - partners with established school and or community based groups to implement a peer helper presence in their community. Youth and adult sponsors participate in an activity based "peer helping" workshop of fundamental helping, prevention and intervention skills.
