Mission

The Alliances mission is to create a vibrant and resilient economy through the recruitment, retainment, and growth of business to preserve our quality of life. This mission is achieved by workforce development, enabling business capacity, supporting affordable housing for the community workforce that is essential for long-term economic sustainability, and fostering public and private partnerships.

Housing - The Alliance provided administrative and program capacity for the Regional Housing Alliance of La Plata County (RHA) and through this partnership managed the Housing Catalyst Fund to provide key grants to six projects developing workforce housing. This fund and grants it disburses are expected to continue growing in 2025. The Alliance also created a Revolving Loan Fund with a $1M bequeathment to the RHA specifically for loans to workforce housing projects in the construction phase.

Expenses: $480KGrants: $329K

Membership - The Alliance supported its 100 investor members with economic data tracking, monthly investor member meetings, and its 17th Annual Summit, themed The New P3: People, Place, and Purpose for more than 400 business leaders, partners, and community members. The positive impact leveraged by investor members of the Alliance can be felt across La Plata County; whether within workforce development, housing, or building business capacity, the Alliance is vital to our community. Our assets and efforts have increased significantly over the past few years. This growth is proof of the direction the Alliance is taking. We have doubled down both literally and figuratively on our primary objectives. The result was a tremendous amount of progress and programming and an even stronger commitment to our stated priorities.
