A grassroots organization that has worked ceasely to protect wildlife habitat in orange county.

Education: in accordance with our bylaws, we furthered education through:1. A scholarship to two graduating high school students based on their demonstrated interest and commitment to open space preservation. 2. Mini-grants to laguna beach faculty to travel to the parks and to initiate environmentalprojects at their schools . 3. Presenting to local irvine high school's students a hands-on exploration of options for corridor placement, using maps and noting limitations and hazards. 4. The organization mailed 17,000 residents in the city of laguna beach and selected areas nearby, therevised "living with wildlife," brochure.5. Hosting an educational tour of the corridor plans for our state secretary of natural resources and other dignitaries. Board members gave an in-person lecture to uc irvine graduate students and their professor; that tour of the park and planned corridor route revealed the successes and the remaining challenges to completion of the corridor.
Financial support to other 501(c)3 organizations aligned with laguna greenbelt mission to preserve open space. We made a financial contribution to another non-profit to continue its improvement and preservation of a coastal area.
