Lake Community Action Agency Inc

Community services block grant: assistance to low-income individuals in employment, emergency services, prevention of starvation/malnutrition, education assistance, and other programs. Approximately 1,882 families and 6,918 people served.

Emergency home repair & weatherization programs: emergency home repair program aims to eliminate specific health, safety and sanitary hazards for needy residents by improving electrical, plumbing, and hvac. The energy services program is designed to make homes for needy residents more energy efficient by providing attic and wall insulation, minor roof repairs, replacing exterior windows and doors, window caulking, minor wall and floor repairs, and weather stripping. Approximately 30 households were assisted.

Volunteer pre-kindergarten and school readiness program for approximately 51 children.
