Mission
Lake prairie indian guides and princesses is a parent/child organization that fosters life long relationships with a focus on community, nature, fun and family. Our most significant activities are camp out weekends in which parent and child bond together and learn about nature.
Programs
3 programs
Throughout the year the organization holds a monthly meeting or event in which the child and parent spend time together and participate in fun educational games. The events create an opportunity for parent and child to build a life long bond and strentghen relationships. Examples of events are skating, bowling, holiday party, pinewood derby and valentines dance.
The organization purchases patches for parent and children vests. Each parent and child wears a unique vest to program events and campouts. A patch is provided to the parent and child for each attended event or campout. The patch is attached to the member vests. Each member tribe and nation receives unique headwear and meddalion awards to mark membership and leadership in the program.
