Community outreach & education - information about the ltpo's activites is available through the website and through the newsletter, which is sent to all members. The directory is published on an annual basis for use of members and includes ads from area businesses as well as public service announcements on safe boating, emergency numbers, etc, and a listing of members. Dopnations are made to promote water quality awareness to lilly center for lakes & streams through programs such as the lakes festival, calendar contest and classroom aquariums, the tippecanoe watershed foundation to help promote their programs for water quality education, and to the plain & turkey creek township fire departments.

Annual fireworks display - the fireworks display is funded by contributions from ltpo members for the enjoyment of everyone on the lake.

Other program services - the flotilla is an annual event also taking place durin the 4th of july celebration. Participation for cash prizes is open to anyone, and the piers are packed with families enjoying the parade. The annual fish fry is also open to the public and helps increase the visibility of the ltpo. The fishing contest can be entered by anyone fishing the 3 basins of lake tippecanoe with trophies presented for individual best catches.
