Disability services includes teaching & learning centers (tlc) and employment services. Tlc provides personalized services that promote self-advocacy and inclusion in the community for people with cognitive, social, or physical disabilities. The program offers a variety of classes focused on developing key social and life skills to foster independence, such as personal development, education, home management, community exploration, recreation and leisure, and prevocational readiness. Employment services helps aspiring individuals with disabilities gain and/or improve soft and hard skills that will allow them to expand their personal independence and improve their ability to secure and retain employment over time. In fiscal year 2024, tlc served 74 participants while 275 trainees received job-readiness training through employment services via in-person and/or telehealth services.
