Mission
The purpose of the lane duii victim impact panel is to educate court mandated offenders arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants about the impact their behavior has on other individuals in the community. Victims of impaired drivng crashes and family members, law enforcement and others affected by an individual choice to drive impaired are utilized to present in-person panel meetings to offenders in 2024. An online option is also available. In 2024, 1,186 individuals participated in our program. Offenders are referred by a court or other agency and required to listen to the speakers, watch video presentations and learn about making life-saving choices regarding sober or impaired driving. The revenue from the fees pays administrative expenses, allows the program to support organizations and individuals with like-minded goals.
