Laplace Lions Club Charitable Foundation

The LaPlace Lions Club Charitable Foundation is a separate and distinct corporation organized under the laws of Louisiana. This corporation follows the general goals and ideals of Lions Club International. The Lions Club motto is We Serve and that is what we try to do in the community. The Foundation 1) sends crippled children to summer camp, 2) sponsors a cancer benefit, 3) offers free eye exams and eyeglasses for the needy, 4) offers free glaucoma screening for the general public, 5) provides food baskets to needy families during Thanksgiving and Easter, 6) offers free screening to pre-school children for eye abnormalities through Cub Site Program,7)provide scholarship safety awards to students, and 8) makes cash contributions to Lions Club International Foundation, Louisiana Lions League for Crippled Children, Louisiana Lions Eye Foundation, and other local charitable organizations.
