Larche North Carolina

Residential program our first house:in july 2023, l'arche north carolina purchased its first home in durham, north carolina. During fy24, significant renovations were completed to make the home accessible and safe, including the installation of an accessible entrance, an accessible bathroom, and full asbestos abatement. This home will be licensed to provide quality care and affordable housing for four adults with i/dd. Once fully opened, the house will embody l'arche's model of community life, where core members (adults with i/dd) and assistants live together in relationships of mutual care and respect.
