Mission
To unite community members and organizations to bring educational resources and opportunities to educators and students of all ages in west tn. The foundation provides educational grants, scholarships, and resources to our community that supports lifelong learning, workforce development, and education.
Programs

The foundation provides leads grants designed to assist west tennessee educators who promote initiatives that help students learn, experience, advocate, dream, and solve.
Leaders education foundation will award scholarships up to $1,000 to support west tennessee students who are enrolled in workforce readiness programs or are pursuing industry certifications through west tennessee community colleges, the tennessee college of applied technology or the william r. Moore college of technology. The scholarship funds can be used for tuition, purchasing associated supplies, books or materials, testing fees or other related costs associated with the program or certification.
The foundation provided post year 1 collegiate scholarships to previous scholarship recipients.
The foundation contributed towards the weststar future stars summit to pay the cost for students to attend this program.
The foundation contributed to the weststar westteach program to sponsor program costs.
The foundation contributed to the united way read team of west tennessee. The read team allows volunteers to partner with students during school hours to assist students with reading initiatives for one hour per week. The read team also supports the words on wheels or wow wagon. The wow wagon is a trailer that travels to neighborhoods in west tennessee to give free books to children.
Ballet arts grant to further their exempt mission. Leaders education foundation is the school performance sponsor for ballet arts of jackson's 2024-25 season, allowing hundreds of more children from school districts across west tennessee to experience a live ballet performance. This grant provides funds to finance performances, cover the admission of students, and provide transportation to attend performances. Admission and performances which would be barriers that would keep students from attending a ballet performance.
Various grants to other educational related nonprofits to further their exempt purposes and provide related scholarships.
