Inclusive Leadership Institute - 8-month program for leaders living or working in Fairfax County that seek to deepen their understanding of the historical foundations and the consequences of racism in systems and in the Fairfax County community. This program adopts a unique and structured dialogue approach, guiding participants through a comprehensive exploration starting from understanding the historical foundations, to current systems. Over the 8-month program, participants will delve into the entrenched beliefs, practices, and policies that contribute to racial inequities within systems and identify ways to operationalize equity within their respective organizations and the community.
Leadership Fairfax Program- LFI's signature program is an annual 10-month community leadership development program, aimed at senior leaders from business, government and the non-profit sectors, devoted to educating, training and cultivating a spirit of community trusteeship among the participants.
Other Community Outreach, Membership & Events- LFI uses various methods of communication and social media to engage alumni throughout the year. Community Outreach- SERVEFairfax connects alumni with opportunities to invest their skills and talents to serve the nonprofit community.Meetings and Events include the following: Board of Supervisors Breakfast- This annual event brings together leaders from all sectors for a conversation with the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors about developments across all parts of the county.Northern Virginia Leadership Awards- This annual luncheon event recognizes community leaders who have made a significant contribution through their vision, leadership, commitment and inspiration.
Lifetime Leadership Program- The Lifetime Leadership Program is an annual three month program for newly retired individuals who wish to grow their community involvement and deepen their contribution.
Emerging Leadership Institute: The Emerging Leaders Institute is an annual 10 month program for developing leaders centered around skill building, mentoring and coaching, and working on a skills-based community service project for a local non-profit.
