The mission of the Leadership Foundation of Greater Las Vegas, Inc. is to build Southern Nevada community's capacity to lead, educate and develop talent. The Foundation offers signature programs that cultivate business and community leaders at every stage of their development and career and is dedicated to making Southern Nevada and incomparable destination for business leaders, entrepreneurs and today's most promising talent.

Vegas Young Professionals - To cultivate future business and community leaders by providing young professionals outstanding education and skills development opportunities while connecting them to career-enhancing professional and community networks.

Expenses: $43K

Focus Las Vegas - To provide Southern Nevada business leaders the opportunity to dive into timely, relevant topics of interest to the business community. The program provides one and two day sessions that give participants an opportunity to gain perspectives on issues and current affairs that affect the Las Vegas community. Focus Las Vegas creates a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges within the Southern Nevada community. It gives participants a solid foundation of community enrichment and involvement, empowering them to address issues, advance their knowledge and activate their role as a leader.

Public Policy Leadership - The series will appeal to individuals who hold (or want to hold) elected office or hold leadership positions in the public, private, and non-profit sectors and want to engage in public policy and be effective change-makers. The series will help educate participants on how to develop sound public policy, better understand functions and structure of government in Nevada and its funding sources and mechanisms, and learn best practicies in public policy development.
