Ontrack nursing assistant training: the foundation operates ontrack, an asynchronous online nursing assistant training program. This program addresses the delays and barriers in accessing cna training, improves the quality of the curriculum and training, and meets all testing requirements. In 2024, 1,780 students were trained through ontrack.
Provided scholarships to caregivers to advance their education and careers in senior care.
Other program services:funded caregiver training on self-care, recognizing signs of crisis, de-escalation strategies, and managing triggers to prevent abuse.developed new resources for providers to explore available technologies to improve senior care outcomes and create workforce efficiencies.funded the development of trained medication aide (tma) curriculum to address the acute shortage of tma's in minnesota.engaged in research to identify strategies to eliminate the falls, injuries, and other adverse impacts of mechanical lifts. The research produced recommendations for improved training, equipment use aides, and design changes.developed training and resources to build capacity in the boards and board members that govern provider organizations.
