The purposes of the corporation, as set forth in the articles of incorporation, are exclusively charitable, educational, or religious, within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended, or the corresponding provision of any future federal tax law ("section 501(c)(3)"). In furtherance of such purposes, the corporation shall have the same powers as an individual to do all things necessary or convenient to carry out the purposes, as set forth in the articles of incorporation and the bylaws.
