Early Literacy Tutoring: The Early Literacy Program provides foundational reading instruction to students in kindergarten through second grade, with a focus on equitable access to evidence-based literacy support. Utilizing the Wilson Foundations curriculum, tutors deliver small-group sessions twice weekly, emphasizing phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension through multi-sensory methods. This program is offered at no cost to families and is designed to prevent reading difficulties before they escalate, particularly benefiting underserved communities in Pittsburgh.
Arts and Comedy Empowerment:Comedy classes are used as a method of increasing confidence, improving listening skills, and acceptance of failure.
