We inspire diverse school communities to love learning and build their creativity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills.

Programs

Arts residencies: during fiscal year 2024 leap partnered with 92 new york city public schools to deliver arts residency programs to over 18,000 of students in grades pre k-12. These programs were offered in-person during the school day and after school in partnership with classroom teachers and support staff. Programs vary in schedule and duration offering 10 to over 30 hours of instructional sessions either once or twice per week. All programs are facilitated by trained professional teaching artists in various disciplines including dance, theatre, music, visual arts, and new media arts, and culminated in a celebratory event that includes a performance or showcase of student work.the revenue listed above does not include the government grants supporting arts residencies programs from the department of cultural affairs of $80,000 and new york city digital inclusion grants of $153,510.
