Hosted wildlife heritage festival. This festival brought families and firends together to celebrate the richa natural and cultural heritage of the delta.
Host to the 58th annual member banquet which was to promote economic development for the community. One hundred seventy-five members of the community were in attendance.
Host to the frogfest which is to promote leland's reputation as the preferred place of residence or weekend destination for families with young children. The family festival drew over 1,000 people to the city.
The deer creek duck launch for the purpose of maintaining the population of peking ducks in deer creek. Seventy peking ducklings were purchased, pen raised by chamber board members, and then released into the creek.
Christmas open house, cocktails and candy canes. This event was held to support local merchants. Approximately 20 vendors participated in the event.
Hotter than hades half marathon. There were 50 runners that participated.
