Older Adult Services: The Neighborhood House is a preeminent provider of programs and services for older adults. Our ultimate goal is to help older adults improve their quality of life, retain their independence and strengthen themselves and the community. We provide a broad range of integrated services for more than 11,000 older adult each year.

Early Childhood Center: Our early Childhood Center offers very low-income preschool children and their families a full-day, year-round developmentally-appropriate educational and social experience and broad continuum of services in a preeminent setting. Our core philosophy is that we address each child and family individually and tailor our interdisciplinary services to address the full range of strengths and needs so that each child can excel. Children and families benefit from our wonderful teaching teams and social workers and other Lenox Hill Neighborhood House services.

Fitness and Aquatics: We operate a Fitness and Aquatics Center with state-of-the-art equipment and an indoor swimming pool. Swimming instruction is part of the curriculum for all children.

Visual & Performing Arts: Our Visual and Performing Arts Department integrates comprehensive arts education and instruction (e.g., drama, music, creative movement and visual arts) into everything we do from our Early Childhood Center to our Women's Mental Health Shelter to our Older Adults Centers.

Adult Education: The Adult Education Department includes classes for adult learners in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and technology instruction.

Healthy Foods and Wellness: The Neighborhood House works to improve the health and wellness of thousands of individuals through diverse programs: The Teaching Kitchen at Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, a training, technical assistance and consulting program designed to assist nonprofit organizations with institutional food programs convert to our farm-to-institution model and more.
