Leo Strauss Foundation (the Corporation) is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes in accord with sec 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (or a corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue law, referred to below as the "Code"). More specifically, the Corporation is organized to explore, and promote the serious study of, the philosophy of Leo Strauss, increasingly recognized as one of the most important thinkers of the twentieth century. Strauss's research animated fundamental discoveries in ancient, medieval, and modem political philosophy, philosophy, and the relation between social science and natural science.
