Lets Skate

Let's skate held events as follows:family picnic - first annual fundraiser to celebrate the opening of the barb iverson skatepark at nelson park. Event included mental health panel by professional skateboarders and community focused skate partners as well as food trucks. The event served as a final push to complete the project.skatedeck art show - annual art show to benefit let's skate. In 2024, the weekend long show had over seventy participants of all artistry and skill level creating an original piece of artwork with a skate deck. The event served as a continued opportunity to share the art and culture of skateboarding. Let's skate progress and future opportuniites to develop programming within the let's skate organization.
