LG NewCorp, Inc. (the Organization) is a Massachusetts nonprofit corporation formed by LGH to acquire certain assets from Steward Holy Family Hospital, Inc. (Holy Family Hospital). Holy Family Hospital is a for-profit hospital and an affiliate of Steward Health Care System, LLC (Steward), which, along with numerous subsidiaries and affiliates, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on May 6, 2024. Holy Family Hospital operates an acute care hospital with campuses in Haverhill and Methuen, Massachusetts (the Holy Family Campuses), and is one of the debtors included in Steward's bankruptcy filing. The Organization intends to acquire the assets owned and used by Holy Family Hospital through the bankruptcy process and to operate an acute care hospital at the Holy Family Campuses. The Organization's sole activity will be the operation of an acute care hospital at the Holy Family Campuses.
