Whitehall public transportation program, initiated in july 2011 through a grant with the montana department of transportation, provides transportation services to residents of the whitehall area who are elderly or disabled and then the general public. The organization also provides services to boulder, mt.this program is primarily funded through grants and donations, the largest grant being from the montana department of transportation. In 2024, jefferson county gave $58,000 for annual match for wpt/whitehall & boulder and montana dept. Of transportation gave $182,591 for wpt operations.
