Assist low income, handicapped and elderly clients.
Programs

Transportation - transportation is running on a normal schedule. Clients are being transported to and from dialysis, medical appointments, general shopping trips, and to and from work. Clients who are medicaid eligible ride at no charge for medical appointments, and clients without medicaid are charged a small fee.
Community collaboration for children - ccc focuses on the prevention of child abuse and neglect while strengthening the power of families, empowering families to be self-sufficient, and encouraging communities to work together for the well-being of their families. Ccc gateway and buffalo trace staff have been working diligently on getting clients services and resources they need to help them achieve their family goals and become self-sufficient. For fy 2024 we have closed and completed 22 cases in gateway and 26 cases closed and completed in buffalo trace. A total of 48 cases for fy24.
Aging services - provided the following services to eligible seniors sixty and over: congregate meals, drive up meals that have continued since covid, home delivered meals, transportation, information and assistance, outreach, advocacy, telephone reassurance, and new in 2024 public information to promote the benefits of the aging programs. Health promotion is a service that continues to gain interest with the opportunity for additional certification of evidence-based programs annually. Bingocize has become a very popular health promotion class for seniors. The aging program partners with community organizations to help bring a variety of programs and events to our centers. Some of our regular partners to name a few have been, health departments, county extension offices, county libraries, rsvp, americorps, senior medicare patrol, and the ship program with buffalo trace area agency on aging and independent living.
The organization provides numerous other services focused on serving low-income, handicapped, and elderly clients.
