Mission
The mission of life changing community outreach is to impact and transform the lives of youth and adults within the austin community with programs and resources that will provide a better quality of life.
Programs
2 programs
Youth club-provides safe passage in a gang free and drug free enviornment to community youth between the ages of 5-13 years of age. They are mentored in academics, anger management and bulying. There were 120 participants in the program.
Workforce development-assist young adults ages 16-24 who are seeking opportunities in the work field. Features of the program are career coaching, job search assistance, job placement, apprenticeship and development, obtainment of ged and more. 310 young adults were enrolled in 2023 and some obtained jobs, obtained ged's and enrolled in college.
