Quest vocational services offers a variety of employment opportunities and support that empowers individuals with disabilities to develop social and workplace skills as well as confidence and self-esteem so they may achieve greater independence. Quest provided vocational services to 271 individuals with developmental disabilities in fiscal year 2024.see schedule o for more information.in order for individuals to experience a full life, they must learn basic life and vocational skills such as interpersonal communication, safety, financial literacy, and nutrition. At quest's training centers, participants work through individualized goal plans created by quest team members with input from program participants and caregivers. Programming increases independence and quality of life through successful, meaningful, and enjoyable experiences. Skilled staff provides direct care assistance and repositioning services throughout the day to keep participants comfortable and healthy.quest works with candidates who have been approved by vocational rehabilitation (vr) services by the state of florida to find a work experience that is meaningful and sustainable. Quest staff meet with every job candidate to assess their skill level and interests. An individualized learning or job placement plan is developed by the candidate and quest staff together. Community-based employment is offered with various levels of job coaching based on an individual's needs and strengths.quest transition services include internship opportunities like project search, temporary paid community work experiences, self-advocacy training, youth work readiness training, and career camps. Project search is a nine-month internship program in partnership with a local school district. This transition-to-work program works with interns who want competitive employment after high school graduation. Through hands-on training, interns acquire employability and marketable work skills, while participating in three rotations across a variety of career paths.blossom artisanal is a quest business venture offering artisanal products handcrafted by individuals with developmental disabilities. The team produces all-natural products while gaining meaningful employment and learning business skills. These employees are responsible for each phase of the business, from hand producing soaps, candles, and bath teas to packaging, shipping, and sales. Blossom also provides on-the-job training for students at quest kids academy.

Quest kids specializes in helping children with autism, pervasive development disorders, and other learning and behavior concerns with individualized one-on-one programs using applied behavior analysis (aba) therapy. With centers in orlando and tampa, quest kids taught critical language and social skills to 172 children in fiscal year 2024.see schedule o for more information.with services starting as young as 15 months old, quest kids therapy offers expert guidance in early intervention services for autism spectrum disorders, social skills development, toilet training, personal hygiene, motor skills development, health and safety, life skills development, and communication. Quest's certified behavior analysts develop individualized plans to increase acquisition skills and address problem behaviors such as aggression, self-injury, and property destruction. Transition support is offered for teens entering adulthood through resource planning and age-appropriate skill acquisition. Quest kids academy provides children ages 5-22 with developmental disabilities a quality, customized education experience. Teaching strategies are informed by the principles and procedures of applied behavior analysis (aba). The curriculum is designed to provide students with a wide range of academic, communication, social, leisure, and practical skills to give them a well-rounded education that will lead them toward productive lives and greater independence. For teens and young adults attending quest kids academy, transitional and work study opportunities are offered that foster life- and work-skill acquisition. This curriculum provides the skills necessary to transition into adulthood including financial literacy, safety, and pre-vocational training.
