Lifecenter Northwest

Tissue recovery services: evaluation of potential donors, coordination of recovery teams' transportation to and from donor hospital, surgical recovery of tissue, coordination with tissue processors to provide recovered tissue for processing and distribution. Lifecenter northwest facilitated donations for a total of 483 tissue donors in 2024.

Hospital development: work in close collaboration with more than 200 partner hospitals to maximize donation opportunities across alaska, montana, north idaho and washington. Provide ongoing education for hospital staff regarding organ and tissue donation guidelines and procedures to ensure that potential donors are consistently recognized and referred, and to help hospitals stay in compliance with federal regulations.

Community relations: focused on educating our community about the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation and encouragement to register. Public awareness programs include dmv-based outreach and training, driver's education curriculum, and presentations to students as well as medical staff at partner hospitals.
