Lifestyle Health Education Inc

Lifestyle Health Education programs were also conducted at the home office of the corporation in Virginia for the public with minimal fees to clients. These programs were attended by 72 persons and were conducted by volunteer medical professionals and lay volunteers throughout the year. A free class teaching and motivating home gardening was well attended with enthusiasm for growing wholesome produce for one's own family. A free and motivational class was conducted by a personal trainer for an audience which came to be trained to exercise safely and regularly in the privacy of their own homes to improve their health and fitness. Other classes on how to prepare wholesome and delicious plant-based meals while staying within a budget have been well attended and much appreciated with attendees being amazed at what delicious foods can be prepared easily and tastily and inexpensively and contributing greatly to quality of life. A class on growing Sprouts and Microgreens was well attended as people are more and more interested in growing super nutritious foods inside their homes all year round with minimal work and expense. Volunteers are always available at the Center's home office on days it is open to assist clients with health questions or needs and provide printed health education materials as well as plant-based recipes to aid clients in improving their health.

One of our volunteer licensed medical doctors is qualified to train not only lay persons but also other licensed medical professionals to use lifestyle education in their medical practice. Lifestyle Medicine is needed more and more to meet the needs of the public who are unknowingly contributing to their own disease processes by their poor lifestyles. Fees for this training less the expenses incurred are donated by the Volunteering Physician to our non-profit ministry as the physician is so passionate about helping people with simple changes that bring big improvements. This training includes both didactic as well as hands-on training with the Trainee Physician seeing clients alongside the board-certified lifestyle medicine Volunteering Physician. The Trainee applies this knowledge to become proficient so that when training is successfully completed he is prepared to sit for the board exam in Lifestyle Medicine. One Family Practice physician enrolled in this training in 2024 and successfully completed the training. Our volunteer licensed Lifestyle Medicine board-certified Physician who conducts this training travels around the world giving professional presentations to Lifestyle Medicine Conferences and physicians and other medical professionals, so we are very blessed to have him as a part of our ministry.
