Limmud conducts seminars, lectures, workshops, and discussions covering a vast range of topics, including religious, social, and cultural trends within Jewish communities worldwide with roots in the former Soviet Union countries.

UZHHOROD UKRAINE, MAY & NOVEMBER 2024In 2024, two Limmud FSU conferences were held in Ukraine. The first conference was attended by 200 participants and the event featured diverse sessions, ranging from Jewish history to contemporary topics. Limmud FSU held a ceremony to honor the Jews of Uzhhorod who were murdered by the Nazis 80 years ago. The second conference was attended by 100 young Ukrainian Jews for a weekend of Jewish learning and cultural enrichment.

TEL AVIV ISRAEL, DECEMBER 2024500 participants with FSU roots gathered in Tel Aviv for a Limmud FSU festival and Jewish learning amid ongoing attacks from Yemen and Gaza. The program focused on Israel's security, political future, and rising antisemitism after October 7th. Participants also attended other workshops and events.

BAKU AZERBAIJAN, SEPTEMBER 2024The conference in Baku was dedicated to culture, science, and creativity. It immersed participants in an atmosphere of knowledge, where everyone could find something useful through lectures, workshops, and discussions. The program attracted many enthusiasts of history and Jewish culture. Art workshops focused on creating collages, painting on glass, bead weaving techniques, and exploring Azerbaijani wines. The eventful day ended with a festive dinner and a gala concert, leaving everyone with vivid and unforgettable memories.

TBILISI GEORGIA, JUNE 2024150 young Jews attended Limmud's fist ever event in Tbilisi with sessions in Russian, Georgian, and English. The unique cultural history of the Jewish community of the Caucasus was discussed, alongside the specificity of the fate of the Jews living in Georgia during the Holocaust. Other sessions focused on models of Jewish leadership and the current situation in Israel.
