Mission
LITE's mission is to motivate individuals, groups, businesses and even whole communities to live lightly and more efficiently. Our focus is on alternative transportation, Zero Waste, reuse, repair and recycling via DIY (do it yourself) skill development, outreach, education and fun!

Zero Waste Action - Sonoma County promotes and advocates for high diversion and Zero Waste practices, policies and programs. We conduct a wide range of volunteer activities via our large network and in collaboration with other nonprofit groups. Examples include writing articles, event tabling, giving presentations and workshops and organizing symposiums, repair fairs, swaps, etc.
