Mission

Literacy Partners advances literacy two generations at a time, by supporting adults, parents, and caregivers in nurturing the literacy skills they and the children in their lives need to thrive.

Programs

3 programs

Our intensive classes focus on adult literacy, with three main concentration areas: First, English language classes for parents of young children, focusing on literacy skills for speakers of other languages. Second, adult literacy classes that focus on entry-level adult readers with intensive classes and individualized tutoring. Third, a seminar series that helps young parents finish their High School Equivalency diplomas and transition into their college education.

Expenses: $1.3M

Our educational support services help adults, parents, and caregivers achieve their literacy goals. The Organization helps program participants improve their literacy skills, and supports participants in championing literacy with the children in their lives.

Expenses: $403K

Family Literacy Program: Supports parents of young children to obtain their HSE and enroll in college.
