Literacy Together transforms lives and communities through the power of literacy. Trained volunteer tutors support youth, adults, and immigrants by helping them achieve their educational goals.

English for Speakers of Other Languages The English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) program provides free English language instruction to students who wish to remove barriers to employment and improve the economic mobility of their families, help their children in school, become U.S. citizens, and learn to navigate the healthcare system. Last year: - 299 students received intensive English language instruction - 228 trained volunteer tutors provided a combined 24,423 hours of tutoring instruction - 17 students passed the U.S. Citizenship exam and became U.S. citizens.

Adult Literacy The Adult Literacy program provides free one-one-instruction to English speakers whose reading, writing, spelling, or math skills are below a basic skills level. Students enroll because they want to improve job prospects, help their children in school, enroll in a High School Equivalency Program, and better navigate the world around them. Last year: - 58 students received individualized tutoring support - 47 trained volunteer tutors provided a combined 4,525 hours of tutoring instruction

Dolly Partons Imagination Library mails a free, high-quality book every month month to children under the age of five to build a home library and ignite a love of reading. - 6,695 children under the age of five received free books.
