A Snack shack run by volunteers to provide hundreds of friends and families of athletes and coaches, comforts while spending their time at the baseball park. Volunteers from each team and as well as high school students seeking hours for NHS or Clubs provide services so that snack shack is open almost every day serving the community.
Rincon Little League had 3 All Star teams, 9 10u, 10 11u and finally 12u consisting of over 35 athletes and 10 coaches. Teams practiced everyday of their summer to help ensure success during the tournaments held through August. 9 10s made to district level while 11s and 12s became district 12 champions and went onto compete statewide.
Opening Day activities were offered to not only the 600 baseball families but to the community free of charge. Instead of charging families for any of the activities we offered vendors of the community an opportunity to advertise and promote their services. Booths were rented for a fee ranging from $150-$300 depending on services rendered. With the $300 package they received a company banner we could display on the fence line and a booth. Activities provided at opening day included 3 jumping castles, home run derby, fast pitch competition, athletic gear exchange and 3 games were played to kick off the season.
