To address conservation, environmental, and sustainability issues by creating structures and programs that merge global issues with local, scalable, measurable, and meaningful initiatives and projects. Engage community members, businesses, ngos and municipal leaders, and shift public awareness to create positive, sustainable change for our world.

Programs

Clean cities and communities network, comprised of 75 coalitions throughout the country, department of energy, and their national laboratories, advances the nation's environment, energy security, and economic prosperity through collaboration with communities by building aprtnerships with public and private stakeholders that create equitable deployment of clean transportation solutions for all. Our coalition provides resources, webinars, training and technical assistance to municipalities, businesses and community members throughout fairfield county and litchfield county. The coalition specializes in electric school bus adoption, municipal ev readiness, ev zoning regulations, ev fleet adoption and community engagement. The coast-to-coast ev road trip is an annual 4,500+ mile, national ev education and awareness demonstrationevent with hundreds of partners and millions of online impressions, with a 2024 focus on how ev zoning regulations improve the user experience. The annual stakeholder meeting provides stakeholders with resources, and the opportunity to learn from each other and supports the live green connecticut mission.

Community-led solutions that build replicable program models that identify high impact community-led transportation planning, and community cohorts that result in locally driven, clean transportation and workforce development projects in winsted, connecticut and bridgeport, connecticut.

Live green programs: our organization integrates the 17 global sustainable development goals into businesses, municipalities and communities through integrating scaleable, metric - driven programs and initiatives that change behavior. Some of our programs include the following: 1) charging smart - technical assistance, resources and coaching is provided to 6 municipalities to set and achieve impactful ev readiness goals; 2) empower - accelerated employer interest and adoption in workplace charging implementation by providing tools, resources, information and recognition needed to support rapid buildout of ev infrastructure - 52 businesses signed workplace pledges, 24 recognized for installations; 3) drive electric ct/deusa2 - develop a state-based "drive electric" program that engages individuals, utilities, legislators, dealerships and others towards removing adoption barriers and accelerating plug-in electric vehicle use; 4) solar - provide solar education to community members; 5) ne ev symposium - support this electric ride and drive event in the parking lot of the zero-emission hotel marcel in the long wharf area of new haven, ct hosted by the ev club of ct; and 6) ev readiness/zoning regulations - collaboration with municipal zoning staff to develop model electric vehicle zoning regulations that support a safe, consistent ev charging experience by enhancing public safety, promotion of clean transportation and prioritize community involvement.
