Mission

Living stones exists to invite neighbors to the table, where we strive to holistically uplift them through meals, programs, and services that meet their needs and exemplify the love of christ.

Programs

3 programs

My monday thing - a popular program all about providing neighbors with an opportunity for more than the food and fellowship they enjoy at our sunday meals. On regularly scheduled mondays, our neighbors are invited to join us for a hot breakfast and lunch buffet. They can also receive free haircuts and styling. Additionally, they have access to our free clothing boutique and can participate in craft activities.

Expenses: $50K

Health and home - to help our neighbors maintain good health and live safely, our part-time community health worker, who is present at all our meals and programs, is responsible for connecting people with resources beyond what we can offer, including housing, safety, and financial assistance. The community health worker also serves as our community outreach coordinator, and is responsible for understanding the needs and prayers of our neighbors and following up with them when needed.

Expenses: $39K

Living stones is a christian-based nonprofit committed to nurturing the holistic well-being of the individuals we serve. By providing comprehensive support that begins during meals with our neighbors, we strive to uplift and empower each one by addressing their physical, spiritual, and social needs. Many of those we serve are elderly and face food insecurity and lack social support and capital. We are dedicated to building relationships with and among our neighbors to combat loneliness.
