Restore ecosystems and the sustainability of communities, cultures and economies through restoration projects, job training, employment, and education.

Programs

1 program

Educationlomakatsi develops and implements education programs that integrate into our ecosystem restoration projects as the outdoor classroom. Through summer training and education programs for 16 - 24 year-old young adults, lomakatsi employs and mentors the next generation of ecosystem stewards and natural resource managers. In collaboration with schools and community groups lomakatsi teaches school children and community members how to restore habitat, and the importance of ecosystem stewardship.
