Historic long branch operates, maintains, and engages the general public with its stunning circa 1811 historic home. Designed in part by benjamin henry latrobe, the architect of the u.s. Capitol. The structure has been home to some of the most famous families in virginia's long history and has long been regarded as one of the most spectacular homes in virginia's shenandoah valley. The house is open for tours and is an environment to educate the present generation about our nation's past.
