The long green valley conservancy works with landowners in long green valley, maryland, to protect open space, preserve the legacy of the family farm and enhance valuable natural resources that protect the chesapeake bay. The organization exists to assist landowners interested in preserving productive agricultural land and open space through the sale or donation of development rights (conservation easement).
