The lorain county urban leagues education program exposes youth from elementary to high school through academic support, college, career, and life through after school tutoring, college and company tours, workshops, and internships. Programs such as project ready and equity and excellence project provide intellectually stimulating and character-building educational opportunities not always found in the classroom

The lorain county urban leagues outreach and civic engagement initiatives continue to thoroughly incrase awareness of diversity, equity and inclusion through customized programs in lorain county. They empowered hundreds of lorain county residents through their #allin campaign to take control of their health and be protected against the coronavirus and the flu through a series of community health festivals and events that served over 400 lorain county residents. In addition, the urban league has worked closely with school districts and numerous organizations from across the county to expand their capacity in developing stronger diversity, equity and inclusion policies and procedures in their workplace. The lorain county urban league also works with the washkngton bureau to focus on policy and advocacy that push for greater resources and more effective policies to advance economic and social equity
