Los Altos Mariachi Arts Council Inc

LOS ALTOS MARIACHI COUNCIL INC. is a non-profit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for education and charitable purpose within the meaning of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Coder of 1986, or the corresponding section of any future Federal tax code. LAMAC Shall be a nonprofit organization with a mission to promote, elevate, and preserve the mariachi music genre, Hispanic culture, and the arts. The organization shall bring awareness about mariachi music to communities through education initiatives such as workshops, concerts, and festivals throughout the US. A central focus shall be to support women in mariachi music an empower leaders of new and established mariachi organizations through mentor programs and workshops to reach their full potential The events and festivals organized through this non profit shall establish resources to create a stage for mariachi and Hispanic cultural arts.
