The organizations primary mission is to provide support for the los angeles police departments mounted unit. Primary elements of that support include: providing or maintaining equipment facilities supplies and vehicles used in the mounted units activities and officer training in the use of same; acquiring training and maintaining horses for the mounted unit; support for the units public appearances and childrens programs.
