The los angeles county sheriff's department's community partnership bureau, in partnership with the sheriff's youth foundation established the freddie roach youth boxing academy. This site will serve to provide a secure environment for the youth while encouring physical activity, fostering sportsmanship, and more importantly, nurturing positive relationships between law enforcement and the community. Its mission is to cultivate inclusivity, offering skill development oppurtunities and unrivaled training sessions led by renowned boxers and trainers, including members of our esteemed lasd boxing team. The donation from the los angeles sheriff's foundation provided funds to pay for the jiu-jutsu program at the freddy roach boxing academy.

The server hosts a system called live 911. This allows for the personnel in the los angeles sheriff's department malibu lost hills station's real-time crime center to monitor 911 calls as they come into dispatch. The system allows for recourses to be coordinated prior to a call being dispatched, which potentially will cut down response times as the lasd implements a drone as a first responder program.
